Friends of the White Salmon River participated in and provided Glen Haack Memorial funds for the September  17, 2011 cleanup, which was coordinated by the Underwood Conservation District. (Photos)

Volunteer cleanup participants:

·         Collected 40 CY of compressed trash

·         Removed 12 boats

·         Removed 6+ bags of noxious weeds including diffuse knapweed and yellow flag iris

·         Cleaned up a large abandoned dock

·         Tackled an in-channel piece of metal debris
