Klickitat County is considering a proposal to subdivide a portion of the old golf course in Husum into 50 small residential lots.  These lots will be served by Fordyce Water and by several small community septic systems.  A thorough cultural resources study has been completed. The parcel is zoned Rural Center, so neither a rezone nor a comprehensive plan change is necessary.  This document is a State Environmental Protection Act (SEPA) determination for the project, and the county has found no significant environmental effects.  An informal comment period ended November 16, 2018.

          A formal comment period will open in the near future.  We would appreciate any input, opinions, or thoughts.
